First
of all plug in your Linksys extender into the power outlet and then connect
your Linksys extender to the computer using Ethernet cable. Now launch your web
browser and enter the default IP address of your Linksys extender setup.
Now a login window screen will appear asking for the username and password.
Leave the username blank and enter “admin” in the password field and click
Login. Click on Basic Wireless Settings under Wireless tab. Set the SSID
(Network Name) for your Linksys extender and configure its security settings by
entering a Passphrase or Network Key. Now unplug your router and wait for 30
seconds before again plugging it into the power outlet. Your settings will take
effect and your Linksys extender will be synchronized with your router. Now you
can connect to the Linksys
extender setup and access the Internet.
